Katrina Hadjimichael Class...

On Friday 17th and 31st of October Katrina will be teaching her 'X Blocks Class Fairy Floss Quilt' or you may like her 'Black Magic X Block Quilt'. These are very interesting quilts as you make them with a special X block ruler with no wastage of fabric... Come for 2 days of stitching. Give the shop a call to book in 44212577.

My Monday Girls.....

Today was a lovely class of my Monday girls, they have become a great group of friends to each other. It's just so nice that my classes can create these great friendships... Louise made us all a very lovely roasted vegie quiche and salad for lunch.... It's was very yummy..... Louise showed us her nearly finished mystery quilt she made with Carol, very nice..... Judy and Gillian show off their Basket Bonanza blocks .... Nice colours girls.... Thanks girls for many, many laughs...

Let's Crochet.....

Vicki was here yesterday teaching her lovely Crochet Class. It was a very fun day as always... Lots of happy girls when the class finished and they could crochet. Especially Di....

Basket Bonanza With Carol .....

The lovely Carol Kinross is holding another class called 'Basket Bonanza'. It's a Marti Michell design using her templates set M. A one day workshop which will be on Monday 8th September, 9.00am - 2.30pm. Come enjoy a great day....

A 'Longbourne' Day

Yesterday was Katrina Hadjimichael last day of her class of her 'Longbourne'quilt. It was a great day as there is always are lots of laughs and lots of fabrics. So now we are all ambitious to get this quilt finish in time for her next years class of her Jane Austin quilt series. Can't wait the girls were already thinking about colour choices....

What A Fun Class .....

Today was Carol's 'Starry Starry Table Runner Class' and it was a very funny day. There was lots of beautiful colour combinations happening and flying geese. And lots of 2 1/2" squares .... Great day Carol, can't wait until we see some finished table runners.

Machine Applique Class

We'll yesterday the lovely Katrina was teaching a great one day workshop on appliqué on your sewing machine. Some girls thought it was great and some seem to think that they need to practise forever! It was a great day, thanks Katrina.

To Start At The Beginning....

The lovely Di will be teaching the basics of patchwork in her beginners class. You'll learn from the start to the finish of patchwork and the quilting process at the end.

They are fortnightly classes which will be the 12th & 26th August, 9th & 23rd September on Tuesdays. Call into the shop or give me a ring on 44212577.
