Well I am here, just haven't really had time to just sit and do the blog. Today is really the first day without a class in the shop and it's a bit quiet with the school holidays happening.
I hope you all had a lovely Easter break. I think it was the best Easter weather wise for a long time.
I hosted Irene Blanck's workshop the weekend before Easter and it was a fanastic workshop. Very relaxing with great food, lots of stitching and glueing and great company.

The very inspiring 'Message' group !

Carol and Judy enjoying each others company.

This was Anne's beautiful work, I'm sure it is going to be very stunning when it's complete.

Karen's cololour's are really yummy. From a Riley Blake pack.

Sue's was really different for her but it's really beautiful. From Meadow Sweet range of fabrics.

This was mine from a range called Independence Trail except the green but it needed green.

This was Judy's from her stash. She did really well considering she hadn't done this sort of applique before.

This was Leanne's which looks really rich in the blues. It was the fastest colour choice on recorded for Leanne, she asked for blue and I just pulled them all out for her there and then and the results are great. (Even if i do say so myself )

Sharon's was lovely but since has re - done the whole thing and change the background. I'll have to get another picture of that one.

Glenda's was lovely aswell which she won the prize of bringing the most fabric to the workshop. Just a few boxes... hey Glenda.
The coulour ways are absolutely stunning. Makes you feel really inspired to see all the different colour ways.Irene is such an inspiring teacher and lady.

This is Anne's 'Mosacis' that she started in October when she did Irene's workshop with me. There was a little challenge put out there that if anyone finished their Mosaics for Irene's next class they received a lovely bundle of fabric. Well this was the only one. Well done Anne it's just so lovely, your colours are beautiful. I sat next to this lovely lady for the weekend. She is one of the most gentle, caring souls that I have ever met. It was lovely to meet her last year and a pleasure to have her visit again. Anne comes from a little place called Bribbaree, 50 kms west of Young. A lovely country person as most of them are. I hope to see you again next year Anne.
